Greetings Foodtopia fans and Turkey day aficionados! As we work our way closer to Thanksgiving, many of us are wondering how we can make this turkey day extra special amidst all the holiday chaos. Lucky for us, Foodtopia has many options for those of us seeking alternatives to slaving away all day in the kitchen. After all, on a holiday that celebrates food, here in Asheville we are more than happy to step up to the plate.  Here are a few of Asheville’s best restaurants to gobble your way through this turkey day.

strada-full-dining-room

Strada Italiano, typically known for serving some of Asheville’s best Italian fare, will be stretching their wings to serve a traditional American-style turkey dinner this Thanksgiving. Starting with a baked brie stuffed with sugared pecans and fig preserves and stretching over 4 courses to end with your choice of traditional Thanksgiving dessert- this dinner will surely stretch both your taste buds as well as your belt buckle! Reservations must be made by phone, you may call Strada at (828) 348-8448 to book your spot! Full menu available here.

Note: Always call restaurants before making your Thanksgiving Day plans. Some restaurants may no longer offer these Thanksgiving Day deals. This post was originally published in 2016.
