Asheville’s premier downtown craft beer festival brings the best local and regional breweries from Asheville and surrounding areas together for a great day of beer and music to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of WNC. Many of Asheville’s best breweries will be participating this year including one of our personal favorites Bhramari Brewhouse! Also, be sure to keep a look out for Mojo Kitchen and Lounge’s food truck… in case you haven’t heard they just came in first place at the Asheville Food Truck Showdown! Tickets for Beer City festival available here.

Celebrate Memorial Day At Some of Asheville’s Best Restaurants!

If you don’t feel like getting the grill out this Memorial Day no problem! Asheville’s got you covered with some of our best chefs cooking up delicious food this holiday weekend.

Memorial Day Isa's BistroJoin Chef Duane Fernandez this weekend at Isa’s Bistro as he cooks up plenty of classic American fare including this Memorial Day special Carolina Bison Brisket Sandwich! Isa’s Bistro also has one of the best patios in town to enjoy bar manager Julian’s refreshing creations and some pretty superb people watching.

Of course, Monday always brings us burger night at Storm Rhum Bar and Bistro. Chef Owen McGlynn’s emphasis on farm fresh vegetables and locally sourced meat shine with our personal favorite dish at Storm; the burger. Seeing as how Memorial Day lines up seamlessly with Burger Night we think it’s the perfect excuse to sit on the patio and enjoy their burger and a beer for just $10.

And while you’re there, be sure to pop over to Bhramari Brewhouse to check out Bhramari OG Purp what kind of interesting brews they’ve got up their sleeves this week. We are pretty excited to check out the new “OG Purp”. This creative brew is a Petite Saison infused with purple carrots, yum!

And of course, what better way to experience some of Asheville’s best restaurants than to join one of our walking food tours– where you’ll get to try at least 7 different Asheville restaurants and learn a little bit about some downtown Asheville history along the way! Tours for Memorial Day weekend are booking up fast, so be sure to snag your tickets soon!

Cheers Asheville, and happy Memorial Day!!
