A lot has been happening here at Eating Asheville and we wanted to share some exciting developments happening with our culinary adventures here in Foodtopia. We’ve got some new venues, some new guides and this summer we are launching a few new food and beverage tour concepts, and we wanted to invite everyone to participate! Take a Walk on the West Side!
First off, Eating Asheville is giving you the chance to experience another side of Asheville, the west side. Starting May 23rd, we will be running—or walking perhaps—tours down the happening Haywood Road, the main drag of West Asheville that in recent years has become a majorly gastronomical hot spot with over 20 restaurants and bars all within a mile of each other. WAVL is hopping every night with locals that walk from the surrounding neighborhoods to eat, drink, catch live music and see friends, and now you can check it out on our new tour!
West Asheville Stops
We’ll be featuring some of the best eats in all of Asheville on the West Asheville Tour, including Nine Mile, Buffalo Nickel, the historic Isis Restaurant and Music Hall, the world’s largest self-pour taproom, Pour, the amazing collection of sustainable honey from around the world at Asheville Bee Charmer, Asheville Sandwich Company and Zia Tacqueria, with more of Asheville’s best restaurants to come.
