As many folks know, Champagne can only be titled Champagne if it hails from Champagne, France. Chef Duane Fernandes has decided to craft a dinner that highlights Champagne from Champagne – Gardet.
Chef Fernandes hails from an extensive background of working with with top restaurants throughout the U.S. His education began with Johnson & Wales University and then he moved on to the Culinary Institute of Charleston. His career took off from there taking him to establishments such as five-diamond Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA, the kitchen of Thomas Keller’s iconic Michelin 3-star Per Se in New York, and Horizons restaurant at the Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa.
