One of our partners and top Asheville restaurant, Isa’s Bistro, is hosting a four-course meal paired with Champagne Wednesday July 12th at 6pm! As many folks know, Champagne can only be titled Champagne if it hails from Champagne, France. Chef Duane Fernandes has decided to craft a dinner that highlights Champagne from Champagne – Gardet.
Chef Fernandes hails from an extensive background of working with with top restaurants throughout the U.S. His education began with Johnson & Wales University and then he moved on to the Culinary Institute of Charleston. His career took off from there taking him to establishments such as five-diamond Jefferson Hotel in Richmond, VA, the kitchen of Thomas Keller’s iconic Michelin 3-star Per Se in New York, and Horizons restaurant at the Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa.
