Yesterday concluded Asheville’s Cocktail week! Several of Asheville’s top restaurants and bars participated whether hosting an event or in a competition. Thursday night, May 4th, was an exceptionally exciting night at the Grove Arcade, with Asheville’s Elixir Competition in full swing! Several top Asheville bars were sponsored by various NC distilleries and competed in several competitions including Best Cocktail.
There was a buzz of enthusiasm for craft cocktail’s from some of Asheville’s finest bartenders in the business. We were proud to see several of our partners there including, Imperial Life, Rhubarb and Social Lounge serving up some of Asheville’s best cocktails! There was a delectable spread of various meats, cheeses, and pickled vegetables to go alongside the various drinks. The evening ended with bartender Bama from Top of the Monk winning, and the after party took place at The Montford Rooftop Bar.
Several events took place in the following days including Table’s Courvoisier Dinner Pairing Friday night, Tequila and Ceviche on Cinco de Mayo at Mamacita’s, and a big finale on Sunday at Smoky Park Supper Club with a ‘Derby Party by Maker’s Mark’.
It was a week filled with Asheville’s best cocktails, delicious imbibing, and stellar events. We look forward to next year’s event, and we hope to see you all there!
