Greetings Foodtopia and Beer City fans! Any Ashevillian can tell you that if there’s one thing we like more than food, it’s BEER. Did you know that Asheville now has 1 brewery for every 41 people?? That’s a number to toast to- which is exactly what we’ll doing with this years AVL Beer Week!
Because of our love for Asheville breweries, AVL beer week is one our all time favorite Asheville events. In fact, there’s so much to celebrate in our local craft brew scene, that the annual beer week actually lasts 9 days! AVL Beer Week 2018 is May 25 through June 2, and offers a variety of events in the Asheville Area. Now in its seventh year, AVL Beer Week has grown into the largest annual celebration of craft beer in Western North Carolina!
This tasty and fun event is in collaboration Asheville Brewers Alliance, and aims to highlight many of Asheville’s best restaurants in addition to our most popular breweries. There are so many delicious ways to toast to the Asheville beer scene the next few days, so we have highlighted particular events during this year’s AVL Beer Week that you are not going to want to miss!
