Great news Foodtopia fans- Asheville Restaurant Week is here and better than ever! This week of culinary delights is certainly something we at Eating Asheville look forward to all year long. AND this year the event has upped the ante- stretching to two delicious weeks filled with culinary talent from many of Asheville’s best chefs! The event dates for 2018 are January 15-19 and 22-26; giving locals and visitors alike plenty of opportunity to visit many of Asheville’s best restaurants and try the eclectic yet affordable menus curated specially for this event.
Asheville Restaurant Week is put on annually by the Asheville Chamber of commerce. Here are a few words from them on the event:
During Asheville Restaurant Week, you would be hard pressed to find a restaurant that doesn’t embrace the key tenets of farm-to-table dining. Asheville is home to nearly 250 independent restaurants, 20 regional tailgate markets and a growing number of craft breweries. Our commitment to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, has earned Asheville the designation as one of the top ten food and wine destinations in the United States.
Now you can enjoy our tastiest cuisine during Asheville Restaurant Week, taking place weekdays January 15-19 and January 22-26, 2018. Participating restaurants will provide special menus or pricing.
We’re happy to see so many of the best Asheville restaurants participating this year! Some Eating Asheville favorites on the list include Table, Isa’s French Bistro, Strada Italiano and French Broad Chocolate Lounge! Most options include a Pre-Fixe dinner deal around $35 as well as a lunch for $15! Need inspiration figuring out where to dine first?
