We really love the way Foodtopia rallies together for community. In the wake of Hurricane Florence’s disastrous flooding along the Carolina coast, the Asheville restaurant community is working together to raise money for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina . Through Sept. 27, many of Asheville’s best restaurants will be featuring specialty cocktails which the proceeds of will go directly to hurricane disaster relief.
Our friends at Rhubarb have crafted up an Apple Ginger Collins, while Storm Rhum Bar and Bistro is offering “The Nightingale”; a Mojito variation made with white rum, lime, cane sugar, mint and topped with prosecco. Blue Dream Curry is going above and beyond- creating a yummy drink special as well as featuring a Thai peanut rice bowl.
