Greetings Foodtopia fans and Beer City Enthusiasts. If there’s anything better than enjoying the delicious food and beer scene here in Asheville, it’s knowing that you can imbibe while also giving to a good cause. This month, we’re excited to see that one of our favorite restaurants and breweries, Bhramari Brewhouse, has taken the initiative to support an important local organization- The Asheville Fire Fighters Association. From now until September 14th, $1 for every Lorelei IPA (named after the owner’s daughter) will be donated to the foundation. Now that’s something to toast to! Below is an except from WLOS about the fundraiser:
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A fundraiser for the Asheville Fire Fighters Association Foundation kicked off Wednesday at Bhramari Brewing Co. For the next month, $1 from every Lorelai IPA will be given to the foundation.
Asheville Fire Fighters Association president Scott Mullins said that money will help take care of all Asheville firefighters.
“We’re just grateful for the community’s support. The community always supports us on everything we do, and we’re asking the community to help us out because this money goes to everyone out there responding to their needs and helps us take care of the people that are out doing that everyday,” Mullins said.
This is the first time the foundation’s done a fundraiser like this. It will last until Sept. 14.
